CYBEX Arc Trainer

I did, however, have the pleasure(?) of using one on multiple occasions during a Vegas trip. I work out every day, I'm in what I consider to be good shape for a girl (though if I was still girl-aged, I wouldn't refer to myself as one). This machine is fun to use, most of all. I have such a short attention span that I can barely make 20 minutes on a treadmill or elliptical before feeling like I'm on a hamster wheel in hell, but this thing throws your legs out in front in a way that felt to me like swinging, and you can lean forward or back, push or pull, to mix up the workout a bit. I had such good fun on this Arc Trainer that I recommend it to all of my friends (who preferably live close enough by where I could stop in for a go at it once in a while). Oh, there is one thing. It kicked my butt. My legs felt so weak the day after using it the first time that I literally could not control my knees. They felt as though they were giving way beneath me. Perhaps the extended time I spent on this fine piece of training equipment was a bit much for me. I don't have chronic problems with my knees, but boy did I miss using them for a while there!
